Tips to make your Android Phone Faster

Tips to make your Android Phone Faster

1] Uninstall Go Launcher Ex or Change some settings
Well this personalization app is one of the most popular and used apps out of all the ones available in the Google Play Store. Admit that it makes your phone look awesome in terms of software, but in reality it is a high Ram leech. Hence slowing your phones down. I can say this for a fact because I helped a lot of phones speed up just by uninstalling this very app. Not really against it but it needs a lot of improvement. If you still can’t live without it don’t fret just change these settings
Menu >> Preferences >> Action Settings >> Screen transition speeds >> Change from default to Quick (speed:75)
This will help improve the navigation through different screens but still wont as much as uninstalling the app completely.
2] Uninstall all unwanted apps and games
Don’t want it then don’t keep it, it’s that simple. Remove all apps and games that you
rarely or never use to free up some space. Some apps even though they are not being used or are properly closed will be still found running in the background. Don’t trust me then go to Menu >>Settings>> Applications and click on running tab and see for yourself. The more junkware you have there the more slower your phone gets.

3] Remove widgets
So you have a phone which has everything you want on the home screen. You are either too lazy or just don’t love your phone. Clogging your home screen will really drop the transition speed while moving between different screens and it will make you believe that your phone is gone bad or just getting old. Spare your phone and keep only a few important widgets that you really need every time. Remove streaming widgets like Facebook, Twitter, weather etc. Trust me they make a huge difference over time and will make your Android Phone faster.
4] Avoid Live Wallpaper.
They do look beautiful but they oh so love munching on some ram and drink up your battery’s juice. Unless you have a battery pack but till then refrain from using live wallpaper.
5] Update your phone and all apps
Major phone manufacturers like Samsung, Sony, HTC are constantly trying to improve the user experience and they roll out regular updates to make the phone much better. Don’t miss or avoid them, they are just here to help you. App and Game developers also constantly update their apps to improve performance. You may find better graphics and smooth play because of these updates and will stop bothering your phone about how slow he is getting.
6] Close all applications running in the background.
I know you have a powerful phone but heh it might be running out of juice much quicker than normal or your phone might be acting up while using some app or games. Well that’s because you got to clear the running applications for newer ones to get more space to work.

7] Turn of sync
For the love of God, you only receive spam emails every 5 mins but it may be a different case if it is being used for business. Every time the phone checks for emails the phone will act funny and may slow things down for you. Turn off sync and manually check for your emails when you want to. Saves Data and a hell lot of battery.
8] Keep your most important apps and games in the internal memory.
Many would be against this because they believe that by sending the apps and games data to memory card they will free space and make things good for phone. This is true but the phone will take much more time to start and may even lag because the phone is trying to fetch data to and fro the memory card rather than the internal memory which is faster. You might want to move the apps and games to memory card only if you are using a card of a higher class. Remember keep only the important and frequently used apps and games in the internal memory.
9] Clear Cache
Just like browsers and operating systems, apps and games have their cache system too. Really helps to speeden up things but not so helpful if the cache files are too many. Delete cache using 1TapClearner available for free in the Google Play Store.

10] Give it a restart.
Just like humans need rest and a good night sleep, so does your phone. Find it acting slow and sloppy, restart your phone. In fact trying restarting your phone once in a week is good for improving shell life of the phone and making your Android Phone Faster.
Final Resort
Well if all of these tips don’t work, then you must try the the tip to fix almost all issues, the Factory Reset. This will bring your phone back to factory defaults, losing out on data and apps. This is a good thing cause your giving the phone a second chance to prove its potentials. If this does not really improve the speed then you might as well need a new device.
You could improve the speed of the device by rooting the device which will give you an option to over clock the device but that will eventually wear out your phone. I hope this helps to make your Android Phone faster so that you can enjoy your old Android device even more
